| Abstrakt: | The article explores the ways in which scholars, artists, travelers, ethnographers and authors construct narratives of the ancient Greece near the Strait of Messina. Topics discussed include the use of historical analysis and interview by ethnographers to explore the relations between social structures and individual beliefs and actions, and the traditional approach to connecting the poem "Odyssey" to the Strait of Messina. |
