Abstrakt: Explores the effects of bovine somatotropin and timed embryo transfer (TET) on pregnancy rates in non-lactating cattle. Improvement of embryo survival by treating animals with appropriate hormones; Use of ovulation synchronization protocols with timed embryo transfer to overcome the poor detection of oestrus; Comparison of pregnancy rates achieved using either TET or superovulated embryos with timed artificial insemination.
