Abstrakt: Engineered cementitious composite (ECC) is unique in terms of promising ductility and its value of durability. Research on ECC have covered wide range of structural applications based on the design function of ECC. Recently, green ECC is gaining attentions from scientists and practitioners due to increasing environmental concerns and sustainability considerations. This paper summarize review on the constituents in making green ECC and feasibility of various green or recycled materials in developing green ECC while still able to maintain its superior characteristics. Mechanical strengths of green ECC specifically in terms of compressive, tensile, flexural as well as tensile strain capacity from existing research are compared and discussed. Durability tests on green ECC from previous work are reported and gaps of research are identified. Finally, future directions on research of green ECC are suggested. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
