Abstrakt: The article presents the results of research on identification of heat stress pathophysiological features in healthy dairy cows and cows with liver pathology. It is shown that in the summer period in the southern region of Russia, cattle are constantly under heat stress, with moderate heat stress prevailing in terms of severity. At the same time, cows have reduced milk productivity, protein and fat content in milk, while increasing the number of somatic cells in it. Weak relationship between the mass fraction of lactose in milk and the temperature-humidity index is noted, especially for healthy animals. Heat stress in healthy cows results in the increase of the blood protein spectrum, while animals with hepatopathology, on the contrary, inhibit protein metabolism. In the summer period, cows have a higher activity of aminotransferases and alkaline phosphatase in the blood serum compared to the spring period. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
