Science and technology have made concrete a material that is more applicable and innovative, one of which is pervious concrete. In the Pervious concrete, water can be allowed to pass through because of interconnected voids within the concrete structure. The composition of pervious concrete are consist of Portland cement, coarse aggregate, water, admixture, and little to no fine aggregate. This research use of a variation of aggregate-cement ratio and compaction methods. Compaction using a rodding stick, a proctor Hammer, and a vibrator is applied to each 0.35, 0.40, and 0.45 of aggregate-cement ratio mix. Result of this research shows that permeability and porosity increase as the increase of aggregate-cement ratio, while the compressive strength is decreasing. The impact of aggregate-cement ratio and compaction method variation on compressive strength, permeability, and porosity of pervious concrete is reported in this paper. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
