I own a copy of that LP along with all the other Lyrita stereo LPs (SRCS 31 through SRCS 131), all in Nimbus's excellent pressings. It is difficult to find one of these LPs today, but all is not lost: The music is available in an excellent CD transfer, SRCD.289, which includes, I believe, all of Leigh's music recorded by Lyrita. He reflects on the contrasting experiences of listening to disembodied digital musical files versus the fixed musical tracks on an LP. [Extracted from the article] |
