In the article, a discussion on how topology can be applied to study the approximation spaces of Rough Set Theory is being discussed. Also, how different topologies can be induced from some or all attributes of a data set is explained. Again, some theorems are being formulated and proved by using some topological properties such as compactness, locally compactness, different bases of topologies etc. Here, application of these theorems are illustrated through some real life examples.
