The results of studies on the effect of presowing treatment of seeds of three sunflower hybrids with an electric field, a growth regulator, complex treatment - an electric field and a growth regulator, on the yield and profitability of sunflower cultivation are presented. Field experiments were laid on chernozem soils in 2018-2020. The role of pre-sowing seed treatment greatly affects the yield. Depending on the sunflower hybrid and the method of presowing treatment, the yield varied from 1.84 t/ha in the control of the EC Petunia hybrid to 3.07 t/ha in the "Electric field+Zerebra Agro" variant of the NK Neoma hybrid. The maximum biological potential in terms of yield was revealed by the midnight hybrid NK Neoma, the maximum profitability due to the lower price for seeds was in the hybrid LG 5550 - 469%.
