Device for determining the places of damage to the insulation of 6-10 kV power cable lines based on intelligent control functions.

Abstrakt: The device being developed is aimed at improving the reliability of power supply to electric power facilities and enterprises that have 6-20 kV power cable lines on their balance sheet, as well as to increase the level of digitalization of electric grid companies through the introduction of smart diagnostic devices with the ability of independent engineering analysis and calculation of non-standard transients in controlled facilities in order to determine the places of damage to the insulation and shells of high-voltage cable lines without human intervention during high-voltage diagnostics of lines. The proposed technical solutions make it possible to determine with high accuracy the places of defective insulation with an error not exceeding 0.2% of the length of the controlled cable. The device allows diagnostics of cable lines up to 10 km long. Any types of insulation breakdowns of single-phase and three-phase cable lines are diagnosed in all standard cross-sections of the current-carrying cable core with high transient resistance at the site of damage based on the developed hardware and software complex.
