Heparin administration produces a decrease in the serum turbidity and triglyceride levels with an associated improvement m radioactive fat tolerance. The magnitude of these changes is dependent upon the time and route of administration. Intravenous injection yields consistent results whereas sublingually, the effects are less predictable probably because of erratic absorption. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
