The aim of current study is to identify the effective factors on the social identity of women in Iran and present a structural and interpretive model for the same case. The study is practical. Firstly, previous studies in terms of women's social identity and the related effective factors were investigated. Then, through purposeful sampling from female elites, and administering questionnaire, a self-interactive matrix was extracted through interpretive structural modelling. By analyzing the factors affecting the women's social identity, a prioritization was constructed. Finally, employing Mic Mac analysis, the type of variable considering their significance and dependency were sorted. Based on the findings, some of the key independent variables of women's social identity were: interactional web, socio-economic status, novel IT technology, social capital, and cultural capital. The dependent variables were: body management, traditional roles, athletic contribution, modern roles (independent and updated woman), religious beliefs, reason, globalization, social security, the link between different identities and spare time. Life satisfaction is a dependent variable which is highly related to other variables in the social identity of Iranian women. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
