Abstrakt: The elemental content of ore can always be increased in the mining industry. It is necessary to study in operating the equipment optimally. This study aims to study the effect of parameters in increasing elemental content using a shaking table. Shaking table is a tool that uses the principle of the gravity method. The ore used in this study is tin ore originating from Bangka Regency – Bangka Belitung. Experiments were carried out by varying the size of the feed with a range of 6 35 - 170 mesh, the slope of the deck/table with a range of 5-15° and a stroke frequency of 35-65 rpm. The experimental results showed that the smaller the feed size, the higher the Sn content () the optimal value was at 100 mesh. This is due to the increasing number of free casiterite minerals that are separated from the gangue minerals, as well as the increasing degree of liberation. The table slope between 5-10° increases the Sn but decreases by 10-15°. The optimal value is achieved at a slope of 10°. The stroke frequency in the range of 35-65 rpm gives optimal results at Sn at a stroke of 50 rpm. The calculation of recovery at the highest Sn gave a result of 44.92. This result is still relatively low, it is possible to improve by increasing the homogeneity or setting the percentage of solid feed with the addition of a conditioning tank. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
