The article discusses the importance of fluid diversion in stimulation operations to enhance production efficiency in permeability-challenged formations. It presents a case study of using an engineered diversion design workflow, including a divergent acid system, to optimize stimulation and achieve uniform fluid distribution and zonal coverage in a fractured carbonate reservoir, resulting in increased production compared to expectations. |
