PRIMARY BREAST LYMPHOMA: PATIENT CHARACTERISTICS, TREATMENT OPTIONS AND OUTCOMES: A MULTI-CENTER STUDY OF THE HELLENIC COOPERATIVE LYMPHOMA GROUP B Introduction: b Primary Breast Lymphoma (PBL), defined as lymphoma primarily arising on the breast in the absence of previously detected lymphoma localizations, is a very rare entity, representing approximately 1% of non-Hodgkin Lymphomas (NHL), 2% of extranodal lymphomas and 0.5% of all breast tumors. Two of the relapsed patients were promptly put into CR with second line therapy and only the patient with the mediastinum relapse died to his lymphoma. [Extracted from the article] |
