Measurements were performed at pre-specified time points: before treatment (t0), during CT(t1), at the end of CT(t2) and every six months (t6, t12) thereafter. In men, spermatogenesis (Sertoli cells), reflected by the increased levels of FSH, was impaired for 1 year after the end of CT, while testosterone transiently increased, possibly as a result of treatment toxicity to Leydig cells.
