Education is one of the important aspects of life because it covers a person's quality, attitude, character traits, and knowledge. Education can also be defined as a process of forming mindsets and character traits in creating future generations. The Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic affects all sectors of human life, including education. Teachers and students cannot do face-to-face meetings directly. A solution to make learning keep going during the pandemic is by using the distance learning method. Along with the development of technology, there is an alternative or a bridge that connects education and technology, namely e-learning. E-learning is an effective system implemented in the teaching and learning process, both in online and offline learning. The purpose of this research is to develop a web-based e-learning information system at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Boyolali. The research used the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method which has several stages; analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. Each stage in the SDLC was carried out sequentially and gradually. The System Usability Scale (SUS) method was used to measure the users' usability to determine the level of effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction. The SUS method was carried out by giving questionnaires to 30 respondents and getting a score of 76. It means this e-learning system is feasible to be implemented and can be well received by users. The results of the development of an e-learning information system show that it provides a lot of convenience to teachers and students in the teaching and learning process.
