Kedai 3 Sahabat is a small culinary business located in Surakarta. Its targeted market is youth. The service and the financial book keeping of this culinary business used manual counting and conventional method. The use of manual method often results in error of counting resulting long line for payment and furthermore profit loss. Based on those problems writers develop an information system which helps the handling of the transaction and the financial reporting process. This system is developed using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model with black-box web-based testing method. The programming language used to develop this system is server-side programming combined with framework and Database Management System. The result of this research is a Point of Sales information system which has more complex features as a result of further development of Cashier Information System. The development of service and the financial reporting information system in Kedai 3 Sahabat run well and have been tested using black box testing methods with the good result of functionality. The system usability was tested using questionnaire for 29 respondents resulted 71.3 in scale. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
