The article provides information on the automated study of the behavior of spatial systems of underground pipelines. A complex of programs was created, which includes an input language, calculation programs, and graphic and animation tools. A complex underground pipeline system is modeled using the finite element m ethod. A viscoelastic inertia-free model determines the structure-surrounding soil interaction. The implicit Newmark time method is applied. Three-component oscillograms of real earthquake records are selected as an impact. The assessment of seismic resistance can be conducted on graphical representations according to the maximum values of the stress normal to the cross-sections of pipelines. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
