The Barleys performed clerical work on Brother XII's 1927 book, Foundation Letters and Teachings.9 The Aquarian Foundation Brother XII received a prophecy that he would form the Aquarian Foundation, a physical counterpart of the Great White Lodge. Thank you to Darrell Bell, my colleague at the Nanaimo Museum, for his ongoing Brother XII research support. Wilson named himself Brother XII and became a disciple.7 Through nightly conversations, the Masters of Wisdom dictated a book, The Three Truths, to Brother XII in 1926. Brother XII's teachings drew heavily on theosophy, and they included a belief that the Masters of Wisdom spread spiritual teachings through select humans.8 In England, Brother XII and Elma met Alfred and Annie Barley, who believed in Brother XII's spiritual teachings and became followers and close friends.
