Abstrakt: Indonesia is an agricultural country that is very developed in its agricultural sector. Many types of flora are planted in Indonesia, but the planting process cannot be separated from plant pests. Farmers use pesticides a lot to reduce crop damage caused by pests. This study aims to see the effect of using onion peel extract as a natural pesticide for armyworms. The study method used is a quantitative study. This study uses a pre-experimental research method with a one-shot case study design. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) and consisted of three treatments. Each treatment was observed for its toxic effect until the caterpillar died. The variable studied was the length of time the armyworm died after spraying natural pesticides with onion skin extract content of 50%, 75%, and 100%. The data that has been obtained were analyzed by Anova test to see the differences and the influence of each group. The results showed that there was an effect of spraying pesticides from onion peel extract with armyworm mortality rates at concentrations of 50% and 100%. The use of red onion peel extract has the highest incidence of armyworm mortality at a concentration of 100%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
