The aim of the study is to create a method for calculating the doses of patients undergoing targeted alpha therapy with 225Ac-DOTA-TATE. This method allows evaluating absorbed doses in radiosensitive organs and tissues considering the biodistribution of released 225Ac and its daughter radionuclides due to the radioactive decay or chemistry instability of the target-molecule. The model additionally includes data on relative biological effectiveness for different types of exposure. The calculation indicated that alpha radiation significantly contributes to the patient dose, especially, in such organs as liver, kidneys and spleen. The biodistribution model of 225Ac-DOTA-TATE was based on the data acquired in SPECT study with 177Lu-DOTA-TATE, based on the assumption that distribution of radiopharmaceutical in the human body depends only on a target molecule.
