Abstrakt: Geomorphology is the study of landscapes, the processes of their formation, and the relationship between forms and processes in their spatial order. Landslide is the movement of rock mass or earth from a higher place to a lower place due to the interaction of geological, hydrological, and geomorphological structures. Bandar Lampung City is a highly populated urban area comprising of land and water with various hills and mountains that have potential for landslides. Knowing the geomorphological characteristics is very important for the landslide hazard assessment in the area. The purpose of this study was to determine the geomorphological characteristics and their relationship to the level of landslide hazard. The data used in this research is the Digital Data Elevation Model Indonesia (DEMNAS) which is processed using ArcGIS software to interpret the geomorphological characteristics of the research area. Geomorphological characteristics were analyzed by approaching geomorphological aspects, including morphography, morphometry and morphogenetics. This geomorphological characteristic is used as one of the parameters to assess the landslide hazard. The results show that the research area has geomorphological characteristics which can be grouped into 4 morphogenesis, namely fluviatile, structural, volcanic, and denudational. Based on these geomorphological conditions, obtained a relationship related to the level of landslide hazard in the study area. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
