Formation of a model for the effective functioning of traction equipment on the basis of the life cycle contract.

Abstrakt: Traction rolling stock is a key element for the implementation of all types of transportation activities on the railway transport. The costs associated with ensuring its functioning amount to about 30% of the costs of the transport company for transportation activities, this actualizes the task of building a model of acquisition, current maintenance and repair of the locomotive fleet. The methodology of contract management and components of the life cycle of technical means and traction rolling stock in particular was considered, the existing models of interaction between transport company, locomotive supplier, service company and plants performing overhaul of traction rolling stock were analyzed. In order to ensure targeted responsibility for the quality of operational work, safe and uninterrupted movement at the speed specified in the traffic schedule not only by service options, but also including factory repairs, which will not only guarantee the transport availability factor in accordance with the stated technical specifications for locomotives, but also ensure cost savings on freight and passenger transportation and form the long-term competitive advantages of the transport company in the Russian and global freight and passenger transportation markets.
