Abstrakt: The aim of this study was to determine 1) the prerequisite test of research instruments, 2) student responses to the virtual chemistry laboratory through the Chem-Collective application. The method used is descriptive quantitative on 39 students of Bekasi Public High School selected by purposive sampling. This study uses a Virtual Chemistry Lab demonstration from Chem-Collective on the subject of a buffer solution. Data collected from questionnaire that contains 14 items. The results of the prerequisite test of the research instrument were declared valid, reliable and the data were normally distributed. Students' perceptions of the virtual chemistry laboratory implementation aspect that the implementation of virtual laboratories as an alternative to the limitations of laboratory facilities and infrastructure in schools and can support distance learning is more effective, and requires ICT skills that must be possessed by students. Aspects of learning that virtual practicum can increase enthusiasm, activeness, and can help understand concepts, and can be used as a means of skill assessment. Aspects of students, the perception of disagreeing is greater than agreeing, this indicates that practical work in a real laboratory is preferred. This research can be used as an alternative practice using virtual media with activities utilizing technology and pedagogy using simulation according to learning needs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
