The authors overview the main approaches to the analysis of climate change. Climate models are based on physical laws and take into account scenarios of greenhouse gas emissions. They are used to analyze the processes in the climate system and predict a possible climate future. The authors focus on the relationship between global climate models (GCMs), regional climate models (RCMs), and downscaling methods. An approach to the analysis and reproduction of climatic changes is also considered, which compared the results of multiple simulations with each other and with observational data.
