In this paper we attempt to apply regression model for rice production in which it contains moderation variable. Determination of a variable whether it is a moderation variable or not is by involving interaction term in the regression model. We use rice production data of Lipumasagena Village South Konawe District in Indonesia as an application. The results show that this method works well when modeling the data with a very good performance. It can be concluded from the regression model that capital is considered as moderation variable (pure moderator). The model also implies that land area and labor affect the rice production of Lipumasagena farmers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
