Abstrakt: The results and benefits of applying virtual reality (VR) in the aviation sector and gas turbine engine training are proven. However, challenges and obstacles remain in VR implementation. Therefore, recognizing some of the potential factors related to implementing VR application might be helpful for the decision-making process by part 147 (Approved Maintenance Training Organization) and Part 145 (Approved Maintenance Organization). This research paper reviews extensive reports from Aviation sectors, including authority, research, and journal paper from aviation, engineering, science, gas turbine engine training, and education, focusing on determining the factors and challenges of VR application. In implementing VR, this review paper identifies factors like cost, fidelity, and VR handling skills that help determine solutions for each challenge and obstacle, leading to a significant role in part 147 and part 145 organization for gas turbine engine education and training at the broader level.
