This work focuses on the synthesis of the nano carbon and V2O3 composite (C-V2O3) as an efficient electrode material for rechargeable battery application. C-V2O3 composite was synthesized through an in-situ method from Vanadyl Acetylacetonate rather than using conventional method. Various material characterization techniques were performed for structural and morphological analysis. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) of the composite coated glassy carbon electrode was done to investigate the use of the composite for rechargeable battery application. CV confirms the battery type characteristics with a high potential window of -0.4V to 1.5V, which attributes high power density as well as high energy density of the grown C-V2O3 composite electrode.
