Potassium (K) is critical for fruit quality; both potassium deficiency and excess have an effect on fruit quality. The purpose of this study was to ascertain the optimal leaf potassium level in terms of fruit quality and calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) aryl nutrients in mangosteen fruit. This study was conducted at five manufacturing centers located in West Sumatra, West Java, and Bali. Purposive sampling was utilized in this study. Ten plants were identified and sampled from each area. Leaf samples were collected from completely formed leaves in the canopy's four cardinal directions. The fruits were sampled at index 2 of physiological ripeness. The results indicated that the optimal leaf potassium content for achieving fruit quality and nutrient content in Ca and Mg aryl fruits was between 1 and 1.6 %. A leaf potassium level greater than 1.6 % degrades the quality and aryl nutritional content of mangosteen fruit. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
