The architectural design process needs to be strictly followed in stages, including the participation of many disciplines and other stakeholders. Methods and effective coordination are key to the success of the project. Applications of technology and design software are the major tools for modern projects. Combining the advantages of technology and software with the rationality of stakeholders' coordination will contribute to the completion of the design process and its results in particular, and the success of the entire life cycle of the construction in general. The objective of the paper is to determine the role of applications of technology and software in architectural design to improve the efficiency of stakeholders' coordination for high design quality. The paper proposes methods of coordination in architectural design based on the advantages of technology and software. Various research methods are used, in which the focus is on the following methods: collecting documents; analysis – synthesis; comparing – contrasting; diagramming. The paper's recommendations and conclusions contribute to improving the efficiency of architectural design, optimizing the project design and implementation processes in terms of management and coordination to meet the original goals of the investor and economic, social, energy and environmental goals.
