Batteries plays a key role in eco-friendly environment that are being widely used in various applications. The high specific energy and energy density makes Lithium-ion Batteries (LIB) to have an important role in the energy storage sector, relative to other rechargeable batteries. The final mission for the LIB is to provide smoother performance at higher temperatures which is related to the Battery Thermal Management. Thermal management of batteries, especially cooling of electric vehicles, is of great significance to guarantee the performance of battery at various working conditions of electric vehicle. There are different methods of cooling but, liquid cooling is best of all cooling possibilities. Since the heat transfer rate is more in liquids, which is a powerful way to keep the temperature range of battery. This paper aims at the cooling of lithium-ion battery by liquid cooing which is cooled by using ethylene glycol. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
