The article focuses on the effects of the expanded Child Tax Credit (CTC) on food and housing hardship. It examines the monthly and lump-sum payments of the CTC and finds that households experienced a decrease in food insecurity during the monthly payment period and a decrease in rent/mortgage arrears during the lump-sum payment period. |
