Hopping mechanism of heat transfer in cyclic hydrocarbons.

Abstrakt: The increase in thermal conductivity with temperature in the dynamically orientationally disordered phases of cyclic hydrocarbons is explained by the recently proposed thermal activation mechanism of heat transfer. It is shown that high-temperature thermal conductivity is well described by the Arrhenius dependence. Activation energies and pre-exponential factors are determined. It is shown that the activation energies do not depend on the sample density. The dependence of the pre-exponential factor on the activation energy of a number of cyclic hydrocarbons was analyzed.
