Reider analyzes the same novella in her publication, tracing its textual sources for the protagonist's I yamamba i -derived mind-reading ability. The last three contributions in the collection seem to form a cluster of their own through the authors' sustained and interconnected engagements with the I yamamba i , further underscoring the conditions from which creative I yamamba i narratives can newly emerge. More than simply representing "the first work in English to be written I for i the yamamba (8)", this homage demonstrates the process through which new I yamamba i accounts can emerge and converge - accounts that further amplify the symbolic significance of the I yamamba i while shedding new light on seminal I yamamba i narratives.
