Two physicians give an overview of the evolving drug pattern in Haight-Ashbury, discussing phases of youthful drug use and what the present youthful abusers are like. Emergency medical care is presented in regard to marijuana freak-outs, LSD over abuse, how to cope with speed freaks and barbiturate users, among others.
