In the current work, a theoretical computer study by using visual basic.net was conducted to study the possibility of the tuning method in obtaining magnetic lenses without rotation and distortion. A new objective function was developed to show the magnetic flux density distribution of single-gap magnetic lenses. The variables effect of optimization imposed by the objective function, on the study, properties and redesigning electrodes produced by the imaging fields, was studied. The study covered all of the areas of single-gap magnetic imaging. In the study of the objective function used, it is based on two variables of the engineering optimization, namely the thickness of the gap S and the diameter of the aperture D. As for the optimization variable of the imaging field irritation NI, it is neglected because it does not affect the optical properties where S and D are of great importance in magnetic lens design as it was possible to obtain spin less and distortion-free images by choosing the appropriate values of the ratios between the gap and the aperture of the lens.
