Abstrakt: Relevance of this study is related to the development of cyber physical systems within the Society 5.0 strategy. On the one hand, the role of human increases as an intellectual and creative actor, while on the other hand, the threat is created of replacing the body-based and vital basis of human existence by an artificial substrate. In the interdisciplinary humanity and technical aspect, we considered design that was reserved for experts in the industrial society, while in the postindustrial society, it covers creative areas, in which humans are amateurs. For instance, these can be online applications for creating clothes or printed products. Concepts of Internet of Things and Internet of Everything cause the questions regarding whether the artificial intelligence may be the actor in designing and where there is a line between the competence domains of a human as a natural actor and an artificial intelligence as an artificial actor. This paper proposes a methodology for tracing in a stepwise manner the process of designing from a concept through the project. Efficiency of the methodology stages can be determined based on both the existing and newly proposed criteria and constraints. We have shown the activities areas of natural and artificial actors in designing. The methodology substantiated by the theorem allows delimiting a concept, a formalized concept, a project, and its implementation. Value of this methodology consists in demonstrating the possibility of formalizing the design process to allocate the areas of activities between natural and artificial actors when making the project vision a reality.
