This study investigated the fresh properties of green self-compacting concrete (GSCC) with partial replacement by crushed clay brick of coarse aggregate, reinforced with scrap tire recycled steel fiber (STRSF) to improve the properties of the green self-compacting concrete. Nine concrete mixes were prepared, in which the volume fraction of steel fiber varied from 0 to 0.75%, with an aspect ratio of 40. The GSCC mixes were reinforced with hybrid STRSF of aspect ratios 40 and 65. Using slump flow, J-ring, segregation resistance column and V-funnel tests, the fresh properties of all self compacting concrete mixes were evaluated, and the compressive strength of all mixes was also assessed. All GSCC mixes reinforced with STRSF showed good fresh performance within the classification limits of SCC with high compressive strength, showing that such mixes are applicable for a variety of different weather conditions and construction projects.
