Abstrakt: The soil bearing capacity is vital in urban planning to provide resilience in disasters like tidal floods in the coastal area. The method in this study is simulation to obtain the value of the soil bearing capacity using the Terzaghi formula. The tested variable to fulfil the hypothesis is the results of the simulation of the soil bearing capacity. Verification uses statistical tests, i.e., the Anova Difference Test and LSD Difference Test (Least Significance Different). Furthermore, the values of soil bearing capacity of the affected and unaffected area by tidal flooding are compared using immersion model and mineral composition of XRD that show the difference values between the intrusion area without intrusion and the tidal flood with an average difference of 419.69714 and significance of 0.004. The value of soil bearing capacity in the intrusion area with intrusion and the tidal flood has no difference with an average difference of 11.22 anda significance of 0.937. This shows that the areas affected by seawater and tidal intrusion have differences compared to unexposed intrusion and tidal flood areas. Disaster mitigation needs to see the effects of tidal intrusion to avoid any fault in its planning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
