Waste management and control policy in Bengkulu city 2021.

Abstrakt: The city of Bengkulu in 2021 is currently being hit by problems related to garbage, and it can be said that the garbage emergency. This is undoubtedly an alarming incident for the government, in this case, the Bengkulu City Government. Although local regulations cover the problem of garbage, in reality, it cannot be adequately resolved. Fromthe amount of garbage scattered and the transportation of garbage, that is sometimes problematic. This paper aims to know how the direction of waste management and control policy in Bengkulu City. The authors used qualitative descriptive research methods. In this study, the data used are primary and secondary data obtained through interview techniques, observations, documentation. Furthermore, this study uses data analysis techniques from miles and Huberman. The resultfound by the author is that the policy on waste management and control in Bengkulu city has been by the standards andprocedures set. However, in some cases, there are still obstacles such as lack of facilities and infrastructure that cause problems when transporting waste is carried out. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
