Ni1-xBixFe2O4 (x = 0, 0.05 and 0.1) were synthesised by a solid state reaction method. All samples shows single phase from XRD pattern. From dielectric analysis, Bi-doped NiFe2O4 samples showed large dielectric constant, reduce dielectric loss and frequency dependency dielectric. The values of ε′ (at 15 kHz) are 545 for 5% Bi, 16504 for 10%Bi substituted in NiFe2O4, and are higher than that of NFO which is 80. Loss spectra show a peak at a lower frequency for 10% Bi-doped sample which suggests the occurrence of relaxing dipoles. AC conductivity increases due to the Bi content increases except for 5% Bi at a higher frequency. Frequency variation of impedance (both real and imaginary part) and observe that both impedance values are reduce with reduce of frequency [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
