Abstrakt: The work aims to evaluate the impact of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) in the electroluminescence enhancement of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). ZnO-NP was synthesized by using the sol-gel method. XRD, optical, and photoluminescence analysis indicate the average crystallite size of the ZnO-NP is 8.19 nm, exhibits a high energy band gap of 4.15 eV, and high luminescence at 530 nm. OLED performance analysis revealed that the ZnO-NP significantly improves the luminescence brightness and device efficiency by acting as an electron transport and hole-blocking layer, which promotes a high number of electron-hole accumulation in the emissive layer.
