Intriguingly, we found that TI was highest, and thus most pathological, in patients with TTS (median 0.516 vs. 0.355 vs. 0.313, I p < i 0.0001), which further resulted in a significant difference between the two groups of TTS and ACS (see Fig. Patients with Takotsubo syndrome, acute coronary syndrome, and controls were retrospectively investigated.
