Abstrakt:	The article explores the complexities of justice-oriented teaching by reflecting on the author's experiences as both a student and a teacher. It discusses three different kinds of justices: relational justice, distributive justice, and consequential justice. The author highlights the need to bridge home and school cultures, honor students' language skills, and engage in critical literacy to create a more inclusive and equitable educational environment, in the U.S.
