Slow steady rotation of a spheroid in an incompressible micropolar fluid under Stokesian assumption.

Abstrakt: We study the rotation of a spheroid in an incompressible micro polar fluid. Here we consider stokesian approximation for the fluid. The expressions of velocity and pressure fields are obtained in Legendre and associated Legendre functions. Redial and angular spheroidal functions are also used in solving velocity and pressure. Finally obtain the drag experienced the spheroid. Numerically studied the behavior of the drag with respect to the flow parameters display the results in the table. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
