This work presents the solar energy potential mapping in Indramayu district, West Java, Indonesia, and the implementation of a solar rooftop system that is designed based on the preceded assessment of solar energy potential. The estimation of daily solar irradiance employed the sunshine duration data which spans from 1978 to 2020. Estimation of the long-term solar irradiance in Indramayu using the Mann-Kendall test and Sen's slope estimator indicates no significant trend, in which the solar irradiance is generally found high from May to October. As the 1.125 Wp off-grid rooftop solar PV system has been designed and installed at one of the small-medium enterprises (SMEs) in Indramayu whose economic activities have been affected by pandemic COVID-19, the long-term system performance is assessed using PVsyst utilizing the estimated global irradiation data.
