The use of 3D printing in the medical world is snowballing. One of the advantages of the diagnostic field is to create a patient-specific phantom model in terms of its dosimetry measurements. This study aimed to compare the 3D printer results for radiation dosimetry phantom. We used three types of 3D printers for the study, namely 3D Printers Direct Ender 5 Plus, Indirect Ender 5 Plus, and CR-10 Max. The segmented stomach in STL format was then used to define dimensions and mass references as input in the Ultimaker Cura software and then printed using Polylactic Acid (PLA). The dimensions, mass, and wrapping were used to determine the physical characteristic of the phantom, whereas a CT-Scan was used to determine the phantom's Hounsfield Units (HU). The results showed that the most significant error value for mass characterization was the fabricated phantom with the 3D Phantom CR-10 Max, 0.259%. Moreover, in the dimensional and wrapping characterization, the most significant error values for Indirect Ender 5 Plus are 0.0306% and 0.079%, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
