Implementation of Monte Carlo simulation for recommendation system in convection MSMEs: A proposed concept.

Abstrakt: The development of MSMEs in Indonesia has considerable potential, especially in the convection sector. Convection SMEs in their financial management needs systematic planning. One of them is in planning sales targets, monthly income, and monthly operational needs. This study aims to provide recommendations in the form of visualizing sales targets for convection MSMEs so that MSME income can be equal to or greater than the predicted operational needs. This recommendation system can tell the difference that is minus between real income and predicted operational needs using the Monte Carlo method. This study focuses on the operational needs of MSME Convection such as procurement of operational cars, payment of employee salaries, purchasing of production raw materials, maintenance of convection equipment, and others. All of the costs every month will be predicted using the Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) method to visualize the sales target of MSME Convection. From the operational needs of existing Convection SMEs, it is predicted that using the Monte Carlo indicates that there are fluctuations in costs incurred every month. This fluctuation is related to the monthly income below the number of operational needs (MSMEs are in a loss condition). This recommendation system can provide a minus value difference between real income and operational needs in the form of visualization of sales targets for convection SMEs.
