Details the long-term follow-up of aggressive medical therapy of accelerated hypertension with azotemia. Control of arterial blood pressure following intravenous administration of diazoxide and furosemide to patients; Observation of significant improvement in renal function; Efficacy of minoxidil in the patient with impaired renal function; Contribution of the development of new oral antihypertensive agents and diuretics to better prognosis of severely ill patients. |
