Abstrakt: Stenosis or occlusion of the celiac or the superior mesenteric arteries mostly remain asymptomatic, 2, 3, 11, 13, 20.Postprandial pain is typical of superior mesenteric artery stenosis, while angina abdominalis combined with weight loss is suggestive of stenosis of the celiac artery. Gastro-duodenal or jejunal peptic ulcers are more common in blood flow disturbances involving the superior mesenteric artery than in the supply area of the celiac trunk. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
